Conference Split

Description

Conference Split lets you separate a 3-party conference so that you can speak privately with one of the parties. While you are speaking privately with one party, the other party is on Consultation Hold.

Conditions and Feature Interactions

• Split cannot be activated from a telephone when:

• the attendant is involved in the conference

• a member of the conference has a party on Consultation Hold

• the conference is on Hold

• a member of the conference has a party camped-on

• members of the conference belong to the same Key System Group

• you are in select features or display mode

• there are more than three members in the Conference.

• When Override is used to bring a party into the Conference, that party will be able to use Conference Split.

Operation

To split a Conference and speak privately with the original party:

1. Flash the switchhook.

2. Dial the Conference Call Split Feature Access code.

To split a Conference and speak privately with the original party:

1. Press Trans/Conf or Flash.

2. Dial the Conference Call Split Feature Access code.

• Press the Split softkey.

• To speak privately with the called party, press Destination.
